The River Sings

Weber Music Hall, 1151 University Drive, Duluth, MN

Echoes of Peace Choir's spring concert "The River Sings" will feature guest artist Regina M Laroche. Also performing will be Kako's Choir directed by Rachael Kilgour and Lyz Jaakola and the Oshkii Giizhik Singers. The concert theme will highlight rivers in general and the St. Louis River in particular, as inspired by the One River Many Stories project (onerivermn.com). Concert proceeds will benefit Nibi Walks (Water Walks), Indigenous-led, extended ceremonies to pray for the water (nibiwalk.org). $15 in advance, $20 at the door.

Echoes of Peace Choir Winter 2016 Season

Echoes of Peace Choir winter season begins Tuesday, January 19th! Practice is 6:30-8pm at Pilgrim Congregational Church (fellowship hall) 2310 E 4th St, EXCEPT for the 2nd Tuesdays of each month (alternate location for the 2nd Tuesdays TBA).

Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum, 902 E 1st St, Duluth, MN

Echoes of Peace Choir will meet Tuesdays 6:30-8pm weekly for 10 weeks starting September 8. Practice will be held at the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum, 902 E 1st St.

We are a non-audition community choir. New members welcome, visitors welcome! No previous singing or music experience required. Come join in singing for the simple joy of it!

Harmony in the Park

Leif Erikson Park, 12th Ave East & London Road, Duluth, MN

Classical Minnesota Public Radio returns to Leif Erikson Park in Duluth for Harmony in the Park this summer. Echoes of Peace Choir, Twin Ports Choral Project and Lake Superior Youth Chorus will be performing.

Classical MPR's Alison Young will host the Duluth event. The event is free and open to the public and perfect for all ages. There's plenty of seating, so bring your folding lawn chairs or a blanket and your picnic basket and join us for a great evening of music.

Midi Restaurant will serve food and beverages for purchase, including a selection of beers from local brewers Castle Danger, South Shore Nut Brown, Bent Paddle and Lake Superior Brewing Company.

NOTE: This event will happen rain or shine, except in the case of severe weather.
